What's Deloading?

Great video here on the idea of "deloading."  Whether you are a competitive athlete, a CrossFitter or anyone who puts their body through strenuous exercise, there must be an understanding of rest to work ratios for safe, effective and efficient training. 

Workout:

30 minute AMRAP of push ups, completing the following at specific times:
Start – 3 power cleans (starting weight determined by athlete)
@ :02 – 30 Abmat sit ups
@ :05 3 power cleans (wt. can increase up to 20 #s per set)
@ :07 – 30 Abmat sit ups
@ :10 – 3 power cleans
@ :12 – 30 Abmat sit ups
@ :15 – 3 power cleans
@ :17– 30 Abmat sit ups
@ :20 – 3 power cleans
@ :22 – 30 Abmat sit ups
@ :25 – 3 power cleans
@ :30 – Finish
Push ups can be completed at any time other than when doing power cleans or sit ups.
The score is the number of push ups completed (including warm up), and the weight of the heaviest set of 3 power cleans.
