When attempting a 1-rep max deadlift, don't be surprised if your back "gives" a little bit. It's not much to worry about with an experienced lifter. Here's a couple shot sequence of Carmen setting in a beautiful position, and you see as she lifts she gives a little in the way of spinal flexion (click the photo). She gave a little there to get a PR lift, as a lot of people did this morning, check out all the PR's on the board! Looks like 27 just this morning. Some impressive lifts there also, including a fiery Alan and Adam of 7am, pulling 225 and 260 respectively!
