The Art Of Slowing Down

We were focusing on three positions today, the bottom of the overhead squat, and the power and top of the knee positions in the snatch.  One common reason some of these positions are missed is because we rush it or don't take our time.  It may seem counterintuitive, but slowing down in weightlifting can be highly beneficial.  This comes back to making sure you are hitting your positions. which are crucial for producing the force needed to move the bar and also to keep the bar in an efficient path.
Natalie and Delanie working on just that.
