Camera Jinx

Kaylie was looking very smooth today on her bar muscle ups.  Hard to believe but this rep here was just a few after getting her first one ever!
Photo is of Dillon working that very hard last little bit of range to get the chin over the bar.  We played with a cool drill today, "chin to chest", where you pull your self from chin over bar to chest to bar, then back to chin, completing reps like this for sets of 5.  This is a very hard exercise.  One of the reasons this last little range is so hard is due to the length/tension relationship of your muscles, see link below for previous post on length/tension relationships of muscle fibers.

5 Rounds:
1st minute: bar muscle ups (choose sustainable number)
2nd minute: 3 box jumps at a challenging height

800 meter run
30 toe to bar
50 burpee
30 toe to bar
800 meter run
