Question For You

Some of you, especially I'm sure the women ;), have noticed the calorie count lower than the mens in workouts.  In the past, the programming usually had men and women with the same amount of work for calories on the row.  Or another example is "Jackie" with the same 1K row for males and females.

Here's a question for you, why aren't the run distances different for men and women then?  If the weights and calories on the erg are different, why wouldn't the runs be?

Answer this questions correctly (or at least match the theory here) and receive a delicious bag of lemons :)
