PhotobucketJackie Markwardt push pressing.   In the first photo, Jackie's set up is pretty much identitical to her set up for a shoulder press; bar is racked on her shoulders and clavical, her elbows are in front of the bar and her feet are under her shoulders, slightly toed out.   In the second photo, Jackie has dropped her torso straight down by pushing her knees out and her butt back, keeping the barbell right over the middle of her foot and helping to optimize the bar path.   In the last photo Jackie's finish position looks identical to her finish position on her press. Her shoulders are engaged, the bar is over the middle of her foot, and her back is not over extended.
