Perspective

PhotobucketA few Angi appearances lately at 6am, here she is with Larisa, Steph and Kerrie having a good old time. Today we talked about positioning in the handstand. We put less emphasis on what to do and more attention on what NOT to do. In other words, we were less concerned with a perfect hollow body position and more interested in not having an overextended back. You can look at Nutrition with a similar idea, or fitness for that matter. A lot of Paleo zealots are very concerned with having the perfect ancestral diet (whatever that may mean). The important thing to keep in mind is what you are NOT doing, that is eating pizza, pastries, and pancakes; and not worrying so much about having an absolute perfect paleo diet (if that is even possible?). A similar idea can be applied to fitness. A lot of people have opinions on how much a waste of time Globo Gyms are, but is it better than the alternative, not doing anything? So although it is good to strive for a perfect hollow position in the handstand, an immaculate Paleo diet and the best fitness program available, keeping a perspective of what you are not doing is valuable.
