PhotobucketWe talked about a lot of ideas today related to Fran. One of the main points was keeping a vertical torso in the front squat of the thruster with the bar over the middle of the foot, especially at the bottom of the squat. This allows the bar to be closer to your center of mass. If you allow your torso to inclinate forward in the squat, the distance from the bar to your center of mass is greater, therefore creating an extra lever you'll have to work against to accomplish the same task. Mr. McCormick shows that great bottom position with the bar over the center of his foot.
