Growing up in Santa Cruz as an avid dancer and year-round softball, basketball and volleyball player, Logan has been an athlete her entire life. After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2009 and moving back home to Santa Cruz, Logan reconnected with local fitness industry friends and was swayed by their adamant recommendations for “HAVING to try CrossFit”.  She was instantly hooked and competed in her first CrossFit competition, the regional qualifier for The Games with the CrossFit 831 team, merely months after learning the Olympic Lifts. She solidified her commitment to this amazing fitness program by becoming a Level One trainer in 2010 and began her coaching career at CrossFit 831/ Studio 831.

Logan truly experienced the “community” aspect of CrossFit when she moved to the suburbia neighborhood of Henderson, Nevada, outside Las Vegas, to obtain her certification as a Registered Dietitian.  Not knowing a soul in the entire city, Logan connected with the owners of Sin City CrossFit and was given the opportunity to coach at their gym. The Sin City family not only challenged her physically (they were very fit and this Santa Cruz local was NOT accustomed to 115° temps during the summer), but also provided her with a social network and unexpected close friendships.

After returning back to Santa Cruz to begin working as a Clinical Dietitian, Logan began substitute training classes at CrossFit Santa Cruz Central and soon after, gratefully accepted the offer to coach her own classes. Although her recent change in fulltime work schedule has restricted the amount of classes she is able to teach, Logan remains enthusiastic and thankful for the opportunity to continue coaching with the talented staff at CrossFit Santa Cruz Central.  Logan is passionate about providing beginners the support they need to become confident CrossFitters, as well as pushing the seasoned veterans to master their fitness potentials.
