Hope

Today we hosted the Crossfit for Hope workout. Just one week ago I signed our gym up to participate in this fundraiser that benefits St. Jude Children's Hospital. I didn't think this would be enough time to raise the $1000 goal I signed us up for, but I figured anything would be good, as 100% of the money raised goes to St. Jude. As of 3pm today (Saturday) our gym has donated $2290. Our clients never cease to amaze us with their determination, kindness and generosity. Thank you all so much. - Annie

Here's a little shot of some of those very same good people.

Workout:

"Hope"

Three rounds of:
Burpees
75 pound Power snatch
Box jump, 24" box
75 pound Thruster
Chest to bar Pull-ups

"Hope" has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.
