Affiliate Cup Sign Up!
Because of limited spaces for each gym, we are asking that anyone who wants to participate in the Affiliate Cup sign up at the gym or let Gary, Annie or Helene know ASAP. We are running this on a first-come first-serve basis!
With a partner complete 40 reps (each) of the following movements for time:
Front squat (53/75#), ring rows, hang power snatch (53/75#), and push ups. Partners alternate completing 10 reps at a time. While one partner is working, the other is holding a static position. The corresponding static positions are: bottom of an air squat, hanging from the pull up bar, holding the barbell over head, and plank position for the front squat, ring rows, HPS, and push ups, respectively. Someone must be in a static position at all times. If the static position is broken or a partner cannot complete 10 reps of a movement unbroken the partners must complete a penalty (running 20 meters forward and backwards while the partner provides resistance with an elastic band). After the penalty the team will move on to the next movement. They will continue rotating through the movements after each penalty or after 40 reps have been completed by each person for that movement until both partners have completed 40 reps of each movement.
