Conundrum

Kaylie moves really well, she used to do gymnastics.  I believe it's a common question or even conundrum for some studies trying to figure out the effectiveness of physical activity programs.  Take gymnastics for example.  You could conclude from sampling many gymnasts and gymnastic gyms that the participants "move well," i.e they have good coordination, flexibility, strength etc. compared to the general population and other physical activity programs.  Now could you infer that gymnastics makes you all of these things or is that people who have these attributes choose gymnastics?
Either way, some of the best Crossfitters come from gymnastic backgrounds which they probably chose because they were apt in the demands of the sport and the sport of course increased their capacity in those areas.  Kaylie seems to fall into that category, and I don't know Nancy's sport background, but she can front squat with the best of them!
