To Climb or Not to Climb

If your max rope climb is a quarter of the way up, should you complete that or go with another modification because you cannot make the full distance?  The rope climb is a great movement in crossfit that demonstrates the idea of scaling beautifully.  It doesn't matter if you're climbing upside down one-handed, or a quarter of the way using your legs.  For us it only matters that you're putting the effort in to climb.  What that effort looks like on the outside is infinitely relative and insignificant.  Focus on the effort and the process, and let the results and goals take care of themselves.

Workout:

100 double unders
30 ground to overhead (55/75lb)
5 rope climbs
5 minutes to get 400 meter run
5 rope climbs
30 ground to overhead
