At Central we like to take the approach of giving your body time to warm up into the weight. Spending good time with the barbell is a great way to do that. You may have noticed that it is easier to be in a good position in the front squat when there is more weight on the bar. It's good to work out those sticky points with the barbell first, and not rush putting weight on. It'll feel much better at heavier weights when you spend this quality time with the barbell.
