What Does It Mean To Be Fit?

What is the purpose of CrossFit Santa Cruz Central?  It may be different for many people, but at the core of everything, we are a space that allows individuals to improve their fitness.   
But what does it mean to improve your fitness?  Well, when defined through the lens of CrossFit, it means:
1 - you are bettering all major components of fitness (strength, power, speed, agility, balance, flexibility, cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, coordination, accuracy) through CrossFit training methodology
2 - you are immersed in a kind, respectable and nurturing community.
3 - you at the very least become more knowledgeable about nutrition, but more than likely you take on better eating habits based in the approaches of The Whole 30, Paleo, The Zone, or other healthy ways of eating.
When you think about that, what an incredible place this must be!?
When you see people become more "fit" over the years, you see a transformation.  Christian (pictured below) has been making spectacular gains over the past few years.  It only takes a little digging into the archives to notice these incredible transformations happening every day in the gym.
