Jumping to the pull up bar has always been one of my achilles heels. I guess it's because I don't trust my hand eye coordination (if you've ever seen me TRY to play ball sports you know why) and so I fear that when jumping to the bar I'm going to miss. So for years when I did jump to the bar, I would do the reach up, wiggle my fingers and give a little jump. Most of you probably realize that when jumping to the bar for something like a burpee pull up, this is NOT the most athletic nor effective way to jump. Carmen was working with a lot of us this morning on how to "prep" the jump, and Amanda took right to it.
