We seldom give out monostructural workouts and when we do, it becomes a great "rest day" for a lot of people in the gym. BUT monostructural days offer us some great opportunities. We can really push the intensity on these days because there's no barbell (or other object) to pick up, no pull up bar to jump to, etc. , so there's no reason to stop and rest. On the other hand, we can use these days as active recovery days. As much as we can push the intensity on these workouts, we can also keep our efforts low to moderate while  moving for a sustained amount of time.
