It is easy to get caught up in the routines and habits of our daily lives. Our brains are quick to create expectations. Although healthy habits are encouraged, I also want to encourage you to take a moment to think about what you are grateful for. We don't have to go to the gym, we don't have to pick up the kids from school, we don't have to get up early to go to work. We get to do these things! It is easy to think of these things in a negative light, but it's just as easy to imagine how much worse things could be, and then we begin to realize how lucky we really are. Take a few minutes today to think of a few things you are grateful for in your life. What or Who are they? How do they make you feel? Do this often and before you know it, it becomes another healthy habit.
