If you’re experienced in CrossFit, you may not realize how many acts you perform in one training session. There are so many subtle nuances that go into knowing what to do, without thinking about it, they could easily go unnoticed. Where do the plates go? How much is that barbell? Where do I put my phone? I am suppose to count my workout? Am I suppose to be racing?

What may seem like a “second nature” CrossFit class can appear to be an endless amount of daunting steps to a newbie.

You may have seen some newer faces in the gym lately. Can you take a moment and remember those first days of coming to CrossFit? If you’re like most people, there were probably some very challenging aspects to that process.

Next time you see a new face, maybe remember what it was like for you to start CrossFit, and see what comes up.

We’re all in this together :)

By squatting efficiently, effectively, safely, Casey is demonstrating many techniques and skills. How many aspects of his squat do you see that are details to a proper squat we teach?
