It's Your Show Up

What’s the most important thing in the world?

I’m not sure, but if you asked me what the most important aspect of training is - I’d say showing up. That’s it. It’s not about how much weight you lift, how high you box jump, how fashionable you are (or maybe…) - it’s all about consistency and discipline. It’s very simple, displace your meat bag to any (preferably Central) local CrossFit gym that is providing the space to give you what you need.

Not feeling like training some days? Good on ya for checking in on what your body needs. Show up. Stretch, roll, say hi, a recovery day is in order.

As is talked about in plenty on this blog, we can leverage our physiology and minds by choosing good habits and efficient movements patterns.

One day you’ll look back on a month and not even realize that you felt no resistance to showing up in the gym, or other places that benefit you, because you’ve programmed your mind over years through discipline, to show up.

If you want some encouragement in the discipline realm, look no further than the 6am class. These folks never cease to amaze with their dedication to showing up.
