Have you ever overanalyzed a lift or thought about so much that it actually negatively effects the lift? I.e. paralysis by analysis? It’s a very interesting balance to strike. It’s like, you can only lift to your potential if you’re not thinking, but you can only get to be an advanced lifter by thinking about it.
Maybe the approach then is to have a balance. It’s really good to conceptualize lifts, or other things, but when it comes down to it, it’s all about trusting your ability, letting go, and allowing your skill to be demonstrated.
