We talked a little today about the most effective way to generate power in the thruster. It's all about being explosive with your legs and hips. Being a light barbell today, it's easy to let your arms do unesecary work, especially when they're fresh. We emphasized being explosive with your legs in every rep, so much so that you could essestially "jump" the bar to lockout. Tamara demonstrates this in the photo, using her legs and hips explosively to move the bar overhead. Workout:
