Alan Goldstein; 70 years young today. This morning, as Sarah Albertson was jumping over 2 45# plates plus 1 25# plate, she mentioned how "...as we get older, we get so lazy about picking up our feet." This comment struck me. Most people, many of which are probably half of her age, opt to take the escalator when they could take the stairs. And then here she was, jumping OVER about 10" of plates, defying her own comment. Jumping is one of those things that often scares the bejeezus out of me, and so I think of it as the ultimate display of mental and physical prowess. I was blown away by all of the jumping going on in the gym today, especially by the man above, Alan, who never ceases to amaze me.
