/What's the difference between a burpee pull up and a burpee + pull up? The former involves a jumping pull up from the ground, while the latter entails a burpee and then a normal jump to the bar into a regular kipping pull up. Not being able to rely on the kip of a regular pull up, the burpee pull up adds an extra challenge to your explosiveness. That extra power needed to perform a jumping pull up from the ground, as I'm sure a lot of you have have felt, causes your heart rate to skyrocket.
