Vertical

Today we talked a bit about hitting and maintaining some positions while doing the Hang Clean and Push Press. In the Hang Clean we tried to focus on our shoulder being over the bar and our shins being vertical at the above the knee position; notice how well Helene maintains the position even when the weight got heavier. We also tried to focus on keeping the torso vertical in the dip of the push press, which Helene shows beautifully here as well (click photo). Did pausing in these positions help while we were building up??
